Education Services

Past Projects Include
We have undertaken a number of materials provision contracts on behalf of education providers, including:
Guided Learning Materials
We developed a set of training materials in support of Walsall Technical College for their Sign Making apprenticeship course. The materials were all branded in college colours and included a set of question sheets to teach learner knowledge that could be inlcuded as evidence within the student portfolio.

Bespoke Learning Materials
The importance of the quality of learning materials used within education is often overlooked. A professional image can lead to greater levels of employer and learner engagement resulting in higher achievement levels. Optima Training is able to produce education materials that are tailored to reflect the branding and image of your own organisation.
Areas of support provided
We are able to provide a wide range of learning materials across diverse subject areas. Typical materials writing projects include the following areas:
Health and Safety Materials
We provide fully tailored education materials that deal specifically with the requirements of Health and Safety. These are contextualised to the subject area making them more accessible to learners.
Vocational Guided Learning Modules
Our guided learning materials are written to awarding body standards, and facilitate the effective delivery of underpinning knowledge within the workplace. Our materials have been used to effectively support Train to Gain and Apprenticeship programmes.
Who is involved?
All of our learning materials projects are managed by the Business Director, Mark Small, who utilises a small team of associate writers to produce the required copy.
What does it cost?
The costs involved will depend on the level of customisation required, the volume of material to be produced and the nature of the subject matter. Before we begin work, we will undertake an initial consultation and submit a full proposal outlining timescales, the team involved and all fees.
How do we get started?
Before accepting any new work, we need to understand your requirements. The initial consultation is free, so contact us today to find out how we can help you.
