Competition time – Newark Twinning

Newark Twinning Association is holding its annual Last Night of the Proms fundraiser on Saturday 31st January. The evening will take place at Newark Palace Theatre.

It’s always a fantastic night out with, of course, some flag waving and singing. It’s also a great way to support the Twinning Association, which is entirely self-funding and works tirelessly to promote Newark in its twin towns. The Twinning Association also works to develop links between schools and businesses and encourages tourism to Newark.

Last Night of the Proms

Optima Training has long been a supporter of Newark Twinning and we have two tickets for you to win in our Newark Twinning competition. It’s really easy to take part – just tell us which of the three towns twinned with Newark that you would most like to visit and why.

Need some inspiration?

You might want to develop trade links in Germany or just enjoy the annual Weinfest of Emmendingen, established in 1091 on the river Elz. Click here for more information on Emmendingen in Germany

You might want to enjoy the cafes of Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire in the Touraine regin of France, whilst brushing up your language skills. Click here for more information about Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire in France

Alternatively, you might want to visit friends or just soak up the history of one of the most important cities in Poland, Sandomierz that, like Rome, is built on seven hills.  Click here for more information about Sandomierz in Poland

Twinning Competition

To take part, head over to our Facebook page and post your answers or just Tweet us (using @Optima_Training #Newarktwin).

Remember - we need to know which of the three Newark twins would you most like to visit and why.

Hurry up! We’ll be announcing the winner on Wednesday 28th January.
